The Delivery Driver reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for the following:

Job Summary

• The delivery driver/crew are responsible for the delivery and pickup of catering rentals and equipment to and from customers in a timely and safe manner.
• The driver/crew coordinate workload to meet customer requirements while achieving optimum productivity.
• Communicate effectively with the Warehouse Manager, the Operations Manager, the sales team, and the warehouse staff, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that the sales and customer objectives are met.
• Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company manuals.
• Coordinate with the warehouse manager to schedule daily deliveries and pick ups.

Typical Work Activities

• Drive vehicle to and from destinations, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Load and unload delivery rentals.
• Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
• Maintain vehicle in good working condition.
• Maintain vehicle in clean and fueled readiness condition.

Work Conditions

• Variable work environment, work is conducted indoors and outdoors with varying environmental conditions.

Other conditions

• Exposure to the environments of customer and vendor facilities.
• Frequent lifting of objects up to 100 lbs.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.
